Child Neglect and its Causes

It affects all aspects of emotional, physical, cognitive and behavioural development, and children may be affected by neglect at any point in their life, from early years to adolescence.
It is, therefore, important that all those coming into contact with potential victims are properly prepared to understand and identify neglect when they encounter it.
