Moving and Handling Theory (UK)

The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of legislation and recognised techniques involved in the moving and handling of people. By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of the manual legislation, the risks involved with manual handling and the relevant anatomy and physiology of patients. They will also have gained a better insight into safe manual handling principles.
