The aim of this course is to provide information related to venepuncture and peripheral venous cannulation within clinical healthcare settings. By the end of the course, students will have gained a good understanding of all the concepts, including related anatomy and physiology. They will have learned the procedures to carry on venepuncture and intravenous cannulation, identify complications that may arise and learn how to deal with them.
